This kit got me and my 11 year old together to talk/learn electronics. It was all new to him, we took apart an old PC mouse, unsoldered all the components, examined all the hardware, switches, etc and learned how complex these mice were. We went through the online tutorials for the MAKERbuino and ID'd all the parts, and we're now getting ready to solder them together. Who knows how far this will take us! And we're considering getting a second one for his friend, so they can do it together.
